Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cage Life 4x4 mobile application (the "App"), operated by Cagelife, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Notify us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Membership Tiers
The App offers a free tier and a paid membership tier with additional features. Paid memberships are billed through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's own terms governing in-app purchases, in addition to these Terms.
- Subscription pricing, billing frequency, and included features are as displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, through your Apple ID account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies — we do not process refunds directly.
- We may, at our discretion, grant complimentary or discounted access to certain members (for example, through promotional offers or partnerships).
4. Community Content & Conduct
Cage Life 4x4 has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal content, harassment, hate speech, threats, and impersonation. Users who violate this policy will have their content removed and may have their account suspended or permanently terminated.
The App includes features where you can post content — including the Forum, chat, photo galleries, and shared profile information. By posting content, you agree that:
- You own the content you post, or have the right to post it.
- You grant us a license to display, store, and distribute that content within the App as needed to operate the relevant feature (for example, showing your Forum post to other members).
- You will not post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, infringes on someone else's rights, or is otherwise inappropriate for a community app.
- You will not use the App to harass, threaten, or impersonate other members.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, including content that is reported by other members and found to violate our community standards.
5. User-Submitted Photos
Photos submitted to the Gallery are reviewed by an administrator before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to reject or remove any photo for any reason, including content that doesn't fit the community.
6. Vehicle & Trip Information
Information you enter about your vehicles, trips, and off-roading plans is provided for your own personal reference and to optionally share with other members. We are not responsible for the accuracy of any vehicle, trail, or trip information — whether entered by you, other members, or provided as reference content within the App — and you use it at your own risk.
7. Trail & Off-Roading Activity Disclaimer
Off-roading and trail activities carry inherent risks, including risk of injury, vehicle damage, or death. The App is a planning and community tool only — it does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or current condition of any trail, event, or location referenced within it. You are solely responsible for your own safety, your vehicle's condition, and your decisions while off-roading. Participation in any trail run, event, or activity organized or discussed through the App is entirely at your own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, logos, and original content, is owned by Cage Life 4x4 and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding or original content without permission.
9. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services (including Apple, Supabase, and RevenueCat) to operate. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by those third-party services.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violating these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cage Life 4x4 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to injury, vehicle damage, or loss occurring during off-roading activities planned or discussed through the App.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly as new features are added. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
